It gives me immense pleasure to share that the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) continues to play a pivotal role in instilling the spirit of voluntary service, social responsibility, and community engagement among our students. The NSS Unit at IUST has been actively involved in a range of activities aimed at holistic student development and meaningful community outreach. Through various initiatives like cleanliness drives, plantation campaigns, blood donation camps, awareness programs on health, environment, and social issues, the NSS volunteers have significantly contributed to both the campus and the surrounding communities. Our focus remains on fostering a sense of empathy, discipline, and civic responsibility in our youth. I take this opportunity to thank the University administration, faculty, and students for their constant support and enthusiasm. I also urge more students to come forward and join NSS, as it not only contributes to the betterment of society but also plays a vital role in personality development and nation-building. Let us continue to uphold the NSS motto — “Not Me, But You” — and work together to create a more inclusive, aware, and compassionate society.
